Veterinary Surgeon Vacancy – x2 Hospital Vets – LONDON (East) (to £73k)

Overview

We are NOW recruiting for TWO Veterinary Surgeons to join the fantastic team at a small animal veterinary hospital in a sought after East London location.

Responsibilities

• Excellent permanent opportunities ideally one full time and one part time 3 days a week although both could be full time.
• Average of 40 hours per week (30-hours for part-time) inclusive of 1 in 3 Saturdays and 1 in 6 Sundays on a rota plus up to 2 bank holidays a year and very occasional OOH as the last resort for the on-call rota.
• Work in a busy, successful Small Animal Hospital with state of the art technologies and equipment; CT scanner, commercial laboratory, and routinely conducting advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgery on site.
• Competent GP vets who can jump straight in with routine surgeries, including bitch spays and dentals, and be able to confidently manage emergency cases.
• Experience in ECC and ultrasonography would be desirable due to the high caseload.
• Fantastic development opportunities as you will be able to work within all departments of the hospital; consulting, surgery, wards and ECC.

Qualifications

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Registered with the RCVS
• Competent GP vets
• Experience in ECC and ultrasonography desirable
