Job Summary

As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing electrical engineering projects from conception to completion. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical engineering projects, including planning, design, and execution
• Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise and solutions
• Develop and review electrical design drawings, specifications, and calculations
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and identify any potential issues
• Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are completed within scope and on schedule
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure project deliverables are met
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure all work meets industry standards and client expectations
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations to continuously improve project designs and processes
• Mentor and train junior engineers and provide technical guidance and support as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a consulting or construction environment
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
• Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and standards
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and team members
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed
