Role

Site Hub Manager – Vaccination Service at Ocean Terminal Vaccination Clinic. The Site Hub Manager reports to the Supply Chain & Vaccination – Site Services Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Vaccination Centers Supply Team serving NHS Lothian, enabling the provision of a responsive and a cost-effective Vaccination Supply Service to NHS Lothian.

The post holder ensures the correct and safe receipt, storage and distribution of goods including ensuring cold chain procedures are met and checking quality to meet the customer’s requirements according to an agreed schedule for delivery to internal delivery addresses within NHS Lothian whilst ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.

The post holder provides leadership and operational management of the Vaccination Supply Team in a highly efficient and professional manner ensuring that all activity is carried out in line with NHS Lothian policies incorporating best practice and to meet the supply chain requirements of NHS Lothian. The operational sites managed vary in terms of size and complexity and geographical area covered.

Hours update

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part-time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
