Technical Business Analyst – Trading Systems (FinTech Trading Firm) - London
We’re working with a leading FinTech trading firm building a cutting-edge platform used by top-tier investment banks, hedge funds, and asset managers globally. They’re looking for a Technical Business Analyst with strong technical and financial markets exposure to join their growing team, sitting at the intersection of product, engineering, and client liaison.
The Role
- You’ll play a key role in extending a cross-asset trading, risk, and operations platform, helping deliver new functionality across asset classes and supporting the evolution of modern capital markets infrastructure.
This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll:
- Analyse and manage client requests (enhancements, issues, queries)
- Work closely with Product teams to define and refine requirements
- Translate business needs into clear, pragmatic technical specifications
- Test analytical software features across asset classes
- Contribute to automation and end-to-end testing coverage
- Help improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
What You’ll Be Working On
- Trading, risk, and post-trade workflows
- Real-world problems across global financial institutions
Requirements
- 1–5 years’ experience in a fintech, SaaS, financial markets or a trading environment
- Degree in Finance, Computer Science, or similar (with financial exposure)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice to have:
- Exposure to Rates / FX / Fixed Income products
- Experience debugging object-oriented languages (C# is a plus)
