The Opportunity
As a Data Services Manager, you’ll be accountable for end-to-end data services that underpin billing, settlement and regulatory compliance. You’ll lead teams and partners to deliver accurate, timely and compliant meter data at scale in a complex market environment.
You’ll join us on a salary starting of £45,760 per annum. This is a hybrid role, combining home working with regular on-site attendance at our #London office, Nova North or #Exeter Gadeon House, as and when required to support delivery and collaboration.
This role supports EDF’s journey towards An Electric Britain by delivering MHHS obligations and future-ready data service capabilities. You’ll balance operational delivery with change, helping the business remain compliant, resilient and trusted by customers and the industry.
Who You Are
We’re looking for a Data Services Manager who brings strong operational leadership and regulatory insight to complex environments. To be shortlisted, you need to offer…
- Experience in energy market operations, metering or settlement with exposure to MHHS or similar reform
- A proven track record managing regulated services including performance reporting and external engagement
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills internally and externally
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary or agile teams and driving operational delivery
- Confidence working with ambiguity and translating change into clear, actionable plans
- Familiarity with industry codes, bodies and data service frameworks including Elexon, REC or Ofgem
What You’ll Be Doing
- Owning end-to-end delivery of meter reading and data services
- Leading teams responsible for data service onboarding, performance and optimisation
- Managing third-party providers with a focus on value, cost control and outcomes
- Acting as operational owner for regulatory audits and industry assurance
- Making judgement-led decisions to protect settlement performance and customer outcomes
