Based in the heart of Manchester, our client is looking for a driven PM to join their expanding team. This role is perfect for a professional who has mastered the basics and is now looking to lead high-value capital projects within the Education, Healthcare, and Mixed-Use sectors.

Your Role: Strategic Project Delivery

You won’t just be assisting; you will be leading. You will take ownership of the project lifecycle, ensuring technical excellence from the initial brief to the final sign-off.

  • Project Ownership: Manage pre and post-contract services for a variety of building schemes.
  • Contract Administration: Gain deeper expertise in JCT and NEC contract forms.
  • Commercial Control: Oversee budgets, value engineering, and risk mitigation to ensure project success.
  • Regional Impact: While based in Manchester, you will lead projects that require occasional travel to Gloucester, broadening your professional footprint.
  • Stakeholder: Act as the primary interface between clients, design teams, and contractors.

Your Professional Blueprint

We are looking for a “Construction Native” who is technically grounded and professionally driven.

  • Experience: Circa 2–4 years of post-qualification experience within a professional Construction Consultancy.
  • Academic Foundation: A degree in a construction-related subject is essential.
  • Chartership Pathway: You should be working towards MRICS, MCIOB, or MAPM status. Our client provides full support and mentorship to help you achieve this.
  • Tech Proficiency: Experienced in using Asta PowerProject or MS Project.
  • Communication: Clear, concise, and capable of reporting progress to high-level leadership.
