South West Yorkshire Partnership Foundation Trust are recruiting for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team based at Folly Hall Mills, Huddersfield. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our patients receive the care that they need and will be an integral role within the CAMHS service.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Consultant Psychiatrist who is passionate about providing timely services in outpatient setting and ensuring safe and effective interventions are delivered to our vulnerable population. The CAMHS outpatient team comprises of neurodevelopmental, learning disabilities, crisis, eating disorders pathways and core CAMHS comprising of multidisciplinary with good skill set. The Consultant will work with all the disciplines of the team, and with external agencies within the child’s network, to provide assessments, consultation, advice, and support to ensure the best possible clinical outcomes for young people presenting to our service.

Salary and Benefits
The starting salary for this post is aligned with point 04 of the consultant pay scale (£119490-£145478), in line with Trust policy for newly appointed consultants. Placement on the scale will be reviewed where applicable NHS consultant experience can be evidenced.
