Systems Engineer (Propulsion) 

The Role

We’re supporting a growing space engineering team looking to hire a Propulsion Systems Engineer. You’ll work on the design, analysis, and integration of propulsion systems across satellite missions.

This is a hands-on role to make sure propulsion systems perform as required across the mission lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of propulsion subsystems
• Define propulsion architectures 
• Run performance analysis 
• Carry out trade studies on different propulsion options
• Manage propulsion requirements at system and subsystem level
• Support testing during integration 
• Work with other teams to integrate propulsion systems into the spacecraft
• Support issue investigation during testing and operations

Requirements

• Experience with spacecraft propulsion 
• Experience with modelling or simulation tools
• Knowledge of propulsion hardware 
• Understanding of how propulsion interfaces with other subsystems
• Familiar with system engineering and testing processes
