Psychology Graduate
Location – Manchester (M15)
Pay – 480-550 per week, depending on experience
Start date – 20/04/2026
Hours – 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking recent psychology graduates to join a large SEMH provision in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who are looking to pursue a career in education.
The school supports pupils aged between 11-18, with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
You will:
- Support pupils 1:1, building strong rapport and relationships
- Collaborate with other staff members and external agencies to monitor progress and development
- Prepare engaging learning resources and activities to encourage engagement
What we are looking for:
- A recent degree in Psychology or Criminology
- A genuine passion for supporting young people
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Team Teach training is highly desired but training can be provided
To Be Eligible You Must:
- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service (or be willing to apply)
- Be able to provide two professional child-related references
