The Role As the Responsive Repairs Planner, you will lead the planning process, ensuring all services are delivered safely and effectively. You’ll:

  • Master the Schedule: Produce daily work diaries, appointment schedules, and job sheets for engineers via the interactive planner, maintaining a rolling 2-day plan.
  • Manage Performance Dashboards: Oversee impact dashboards, specifically tracking “Follow-on Works Required” and “Orders Not Fully Allocated.”
  • Resolve Operational Hurdles: Manage emergency repairs, “No Access” issues, and failed appointments to keep the service on track.
  • Technical Data Management: Ensure data entry is accurate across client interfaces; log all repair details, rebook incomplete orders, and update completion records.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the central hub for communication—taking inbound calls from clients and engineers, answering queries from housing associations and tenants, and informing operations teams of any incomplete repairs.
  • Quality Control: Liaise daily with delivery supervisors to sign off schedules, avoid potential failures, and communicate variations or further works to clients.

You To be successful in the role of Responsive Repairs Planner, you’ll bring:

  • Experience: Previous helpdesk and dispatch planning experience is highly desirable, with proven skills in call processing and work allocation.
  • Operational Skill: Strong abilities in planning and prioritising tasks for operatives within recognized safe systems and health & safety legislation.
  • Process Driven: The ability to follow strict guidelines and processes, with the potential to train others in these required workflows.
  • Resilience: The ability to work well under challenging targets and maintain a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
  • Team Player: A commitment to a team-based approach, supporting colleagues to maintain an effective and positive working environment.
