Appointed Person

My client are a national tunnelling & civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Appointed Personto help manage lifting operations ona large tunnelling and civils packagethat will last up to 18 months.

Appointed PersonResponsibilities:

• Producing detailed, written risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) for every lift.
• Choosing the suitable crane and lifting accessories based on the load and site constraints
• Ensuring health and safety procedures arefollowed at all times.
• Maintaining comprehensive records, including lift plans and equipment inspection certificates.

Appointed Person Requirements:

• CPCS A61/A62.
• NPORS Appointed Person
• SMSTS or SSSTS beneficial, not essential.
• TWS or TWC beneficial, not essential.
• IT literate.
• Full UK driving licence.
