Role Responsibility
• Data Analysis and Interpretation: Develop the analysis of large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights relevant to business objectives
• Reporting and visualisation: Develop and deliver clear and impactful reports and visualizations to communicate key findings to stakeholders. Ensure that reports and dashboards are insightful and align with business objectives
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders and technical colleagues to understand analytical requirements and integrate insights into existing workflows & applications. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical counterparts
• Data Quality and Governance: Ensure the quality and integrity of data used for analysis, implement and maintain data governance best practices. Collaborate with IT and data teams to resolve data quality issues
• Agile ways of working: Demonstrate experience in working in an agile environment, participate in sprint planning, and adapt to changing priorities
• Continuous improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics. Bring the most relevant ones back to SAGA and find ways to implement them to unlock business value
The Ideal Candidate
• Experience as a Data Analyst with a strong foundation in SQL and intermediate level Python skills
• Proficiency in dashboard creation (Power BI, Tableau) and the ability to turn complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations
• Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Business Analytics or a related field
• Track record of analytical project delivery, ideally in fast-paced or innovative environments
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across teams and business units
• Proven ability to create scalable and reusable analytical assets (e.g. SQL pipelines, dashboards, frameworks)
• Expert storytelling skills – you make data meaningful and drive change
• Confident communicator with both technical and non-technical colleagues
• Experience working in agile, collaborative teams
• Knowledge of experiment design, A/B testing and interpreting test results
• A genuine passion for learning and continuous improvement – you stay ahead of the curve and encourage others to do the same
