Position Overview
Farnborough College of Technology (FCoT) is seeking an exceptional Director of Finance and Corporate Services (DFCS) to join its Senior Leadership Team at a pivotal point in the College’s development. Now in the fourth year of its Sustainable Transformations Strategy (STS) 2032, FCoT is building on strong momentum and is seeking a senior leader with the credibility, capability, and experience to play a critical role in the next phase of its journey.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will bring a proven track record as a qualified accountant, combined with the strategic leadership skills required to oversee a broad corporate services portfolio, including Finance, Estates, and Technology.
Experience within the Further Education sector, particularly an understanding of DfE funding and compliance mechanisms, is highly desirable; however, strong candidates from the wider public sector with the relevant knowledge and capability to perform effectively from day one will also be welcomed.
Qualifications
Qualified accountant with senior management experience and a proven track record in finance, estates, and technology.
Ability to provide strategic leadership within a corporate services portfolio.
Experience or strong knowledge of the Further Education sector, including DfE funding and compliance, is highly desirable.
