Estates Project Manager

A well known university based in the North of the UK is looking to recruit an Estates Project Manager for a 3-6 month contract to start asap paying £500/day outside IR35 working 4 days on site at the university.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for project managing a number of projects up to the value of £250K each project.

• Mid-level Estates PM (not strategic / not senior programme level)
• Strong delivery focus – pragmatic, “get things done” mindset
• Experience managing contractors and multiple concurrent projects
• Comfortable working with senior oversight (non-micromanaged) but providing clear reporting

Project Scope:

• Portfolio of smaller estates projects (generally sub-£150k-£250k)
• Includes refurbishments, HVAC/ventilation, space moves, sustainability works, building improvements
• Predominantly hard estates / infrastructure (minimal IT involvement)

  If you have experience across the higher education or wider public sector then this is advantageous but not essential.
