We are recruiting for a commercially focused Business Development Manager to join a well established and growing organisation delivering tailored, solution based services to a wide range of business clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for a relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys managing key accounts while also developing new business. The role offers genuine autonomy, strong internal support, and the chance to play a key part in an ambitious growth strategy.

£50,000–£60,000 basic salary

The Role

You will be responsible for developing existing customer relationships while identifying and securing new opportunities across your territory. Taking a consultative approach, you will work closely with clients to understand their requirements and deliver practical, value adding solutions.

Requirements

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing business accounts
  • Identify opportunities to expand relationships and increase revenue
  • Proactively generate new business through outreach, networking and digital platforms
  • Build relationships with key decision makers across multiple departments
  • Respond to incoming enquiries and convert opportunities into long-term partnerships
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to develop tailored proposals and quotations
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and activity records within the CRM system
  • Attend relevant industry events and networking opportunities when required
  • Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to overall business growth

About You

  • Proven experience in a business development, field sales or account management role
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Comfortable managing both existing accounts and new business activity
  • Commercially aware with a consultative sales approach
  • Self‑motivated, organised and able to manage your own territory
  • Confident using CRM systems and digital networking tools
  • Competitive basic salary of £50‑60k
