Commercial Manager (Nephrology / Rare Disease)
A global pharmaceutical company is looking for a Commercial Manager to lead the launch and growth of a rare disease treatment in the UK. The role focuses on developing and executing a cross‑functional launch strategy, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful market entry and long‑term brand performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross‑functional collaboration across medical, market access, and global teams
- Build and manage relationships with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and external partners
- Develop and deliver brand strategy, marketing plans, digital marketing, and campaign materials
- Oversee agencies, budgets, forecasts, and market research
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and brand performance
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies
- Support market access initiatives and promotional approvals
- Lead, coach, and manage a field‑based team, ensuring strong execution and development
Requirements
- Degree‑level education (scientific or marketing preferred)
- Experience in pharmaceutical brand management, ideally in rare diseases
- Proven product launch experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and CRM systems
- Line management experience and ability to manage multiple priorities
