About the role
Our client is a leading manufacturer who is looking to recruit for a Business Support Manager to be the link between various departments and to attend exhibitions and presentations for the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide cover for the current internal sales team in the event of absences.
- Assist with the completion and submission of Tender applications.
- Liaise between Customers, the Sales Department, Management and the Production Department to be a ‘Voice of the Customer’ negotiating lead times.
- Assist with onsite Partner/Customer visits, ensuring all internal requirements are met to ensure such visits run smoothly and give a positive and lasting impression to the visitors – this will include arranging visitor visa letters, arranging food and refreshments.
- Assist and organise (and attend as required) Domestic and International Exhibitions, Product Training Courses and Product Demonstrations.
- Liaise with exhibition management, book stand space in good time, liaise with stand builders, liaise with exhibition organisers.
- Produce internal marketing material.
- Provide marketing support for all departments.
Candidate Attributes
- A full and detailed understanding of the sales ordering process from receipt of RFI / RFQ to fulfilment.
- A high level of attention to detail (Essential)
- Excellent communication skills via written form and telephone.
- Adaptable and organised, can prioritise their workload.
- A familiarity with desktop publishing (photography desirable) and the Microsoft Packages.
- A confident and appropriate manner to build relationships both internally with all levels of staff and external customers/clients.
- Able to travel worldwide and UK (Essential)
