Salary: Up to £46,000 DOE
About the Role
Simpson Judge Legal is currently working with a growing and well-established client who is looking to recruit a Conveyancing Manager to join their Manchester-based team.
This role offers a slightly different setup to traditional conveyancing environments, with work generated via banks and asset managers rather than estate agents. This provides a more structured and consistent caseload, without the pressure of business development.
Responsibilities
- Managing and supporting a team of conveyancers and assistants
- Overseeing a caseload of residential property matters (freehold, leasehold and shared ownership)
- Monitoring team performance and ensuring files progress efficiently
- Providing technical support and mentoring to junior team members
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal processes
- Liaising with clients and key stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven experience within residential conveyancing
- Previous supervisory experience or a strong senior conveyancer looking to step up
- Experience handling freehold, leasehold and shared ownership transactions
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage workloads within a structured environment
