Overview

We support the heart of the organisation our stores, we run programmes that will make our stores better focusing on how technology can partner with and enhance the stores experience for our Customers and Colleagues. Stores Foundations runs complex programmes that will not only touch our stores but have impacts on the Retail Platform – This platform is the foundation of Tesco Technology and is a mesh of Systems and APIs, all combined to deliver everything Tesco needs from Technology.

Role

As a TPM for Stores Foundations Programmes, you will play a pivotal role working with the Product Managers, business stakeholders, Engineering teams, and other Programme family members to define and deliver the change to embed new technology into our stores making them ready for the future.

You will be responsible for

Whilst specific responsibilities will be dependent upon the changing needs of the Tesco business; the following provides an overview of the role’s key responsibilities:

Understand technology concepts, grasp new ones quickly and appreciate their implications on delivery

Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to define annual budgetary requirements

Coach peers and other roles, teaching where required, on methodologies and programme management tools
