Kitchen Assistant – Margate
Pearly Cow Margate is looking for a reliable, hands-on Kitchen Assistant – a key operational role supporting the smooth, safe, and efficient running of our restaurant kitchen.

What you’ll be doing:
Supporting day-to-day kitchen operations to keep service running smoothly
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across all kitchen areas
Ensuring all equipment, utensils, and workspaces are cleaned and sanitised correctly
Following food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times
Assisting with basic food prep as required, under the direction of the chefs
Supporting the wider kitchen team during busy services
Helping maintain organisation, stock rotation, and waste control
What you’ll bring:
A strong work ethic and a team-first attitude
Awareness of food hygiene and health & safety standards (training provided if needed)
Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work calmly in a busy restaurant environment
Pride in keeping a kitchen clean, safe, and well-organised
Good communication skills and willingness to take direction
