Automation Engineer – UK

What to Expect

• Ensuring high system availability both in ongoing operations and prospectively for projects
• Expertise in maintaining process control systems (PCS7, TIA, MFCSWin)
• Lifecycle management of automation and computer systems
• Leading and implementing retrofit projects for the modernization and optimization of existing facilities, considering the entire plant lifecycle
• Close collaboration with various departments to ensure smooth integration and coordination of automation systems
• Supporting qualification processes: developing and implementing changes and corrective actions, creating user requirements, and independent execution of commissioning activities
• Creating and monitoring maintenance schedules as well as maintaining documents for all automation systems and computerized systems

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of technical experience in automation, preferably in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry
• System knowledge in SIMATIC PCS7 / TIA
• Strong team and communication skills, as well as an open approach to errors
• Very good English language skills, both written and spoken
