MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

SECURITY ENGINEERING & ACCESS MANAGEMENT

  • Deploy, maintain, configure, and optimise security technologies used for threat detection, monitoring, network protection, and endpoint security.
  • Manage user access controls, authentication mechanisms, and identity and access management solutions to ensure appropriate levels of access and privilege.

THREAT DETECTION & INCIDENT MANAGEMENT

  • Coordinate and conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scans to identify and address security weaknesses proactively.
  • Lead incident response efforts, develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures.
  • Monitor security logs and alerts, investigate suspicious activities, and respond to security events in real time.

GOVERNANCE & ADVISORY

  • Develop and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures to safeguard FIA’s digital assets.
  • Act as the Information Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all FIA departments, ensuring security best practices are integrated into daily operations.
  • Oversee the security of FIA’s IT infrastructure, cloud services, and networks, ensuring effective protection against cyber threats.

PROFILE:

  • University degree (Master’s) in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in information security, with a strong focus on hands-on security engineering and technical operations.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSPor ISO 27001 Lead Implementer are highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and frameworks (e.g. NIST, OWASP, ISO 27001).
  • Strong experience in security technologies including SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection (EDR/XDR), WAF, IAM/PAM.
  • Strong understanding of networking and cloud security principles (Azure/AWS/GCP).
  • Hands-on expertise in incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken) is essential; proficiency in French is considered a significant advantage.
  • This position is based at the FIA offices in London and may require occasional international travel.
