Head Of Health & Safety (SHEQ)

We’re looking for an influential Head of SHEQ to lead our Health & Safety strategy across both field and office environments. This senior role offers significant accountability, visibility, and the opportunity to embed a true safety-first culture.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design and delivery of H&S strategy across the organisation
• Own all policies, procedures, and in-life monitoring
• Drive performance against key H&S KPIs
• Manage external audits and regulatory compliance
• Identify, mitigate and monitor all H&S risks
• Coach leaders to build strong safety capability
• Champion a safety-first culture through engagement and awareness

What Success Looks Like

• 95%+ compliance in field audits
• 98% CDM and fire-stopping compliance
• Clear risk mitigation plans with measurable KPIs
• Strong performance in all external audits

About You

• IOSH Leading Safety (or equivalent)
• Strong experience influencing exec and board stakeholders
• Proven leadership of managers and operational teams
• Excellent communicator with strong governance and influencing skills
• Ideally from a Telco, Manufacturing, Utilities, or Construction background
