I am seeking a Data Migration Engineer/ETL Developer to join my client who is a leading technology company within the public services space.

Responsibilities

• Architected and implemented robust SQL-based ETL solutions to migrate high-volume, legacy public sector data into a modern cloud platform
• Directed collaboration with third-party data migration partners, providing technical oversight and ensuring high-quality, on-time deliverables
• Led client engagements to analyse legacy data models and define accurate mappings to the target system architecture
• Conducted in-depth analysis of complex and irregular source databases, identifying edge cases and safeguarding data integrity throughout the migration lifecycle
• Partnered cross-functionally with engineering, product, and deployment teams to continuously improve migration tooling, scalability, and operational efficiency
• Effectively balanced delivery timelines, data quality standards, and stakeholder expectations across multiple concurrent workstreams
