An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone skilled in contracts and compliance to assist the Head of Costings in a dynamic law firm. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance and efficiency across all Legal Aid Agency (LAA) contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Costing in managing LAA contracts for Family and Criminal departments.
  • Communicate new LAA regulations and updates, ensuring teams are compliant.
  • Monitor contractual performance, including targets and billing expectations.
  • Prepare and submit all Legal Aid claims, ensuring adherence to LAA standards.
  • Maintain accurate costing records and ensure all submissions meet deadlines.
  • Support annual LAA audits, Peer Reviews, and compliance checks.
  • Respond to queries from LAA Contract Managers promptly and compliantly.
  • Assist in reviewing and improving costing and compliance processes.
  • Proven background in contracts and compliance within professional services.
  • High level of accuracy with numbers, meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent administrative, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • UK driving licence & access to vehicle for business use.
