Job Description:

Realtime Recruitment are seeking an experienced Product Manager to support market-leading Time and Synchronization test and measurement solutions for the telecoms and datacoms sector. This role involves working closely with customers and a multidisciplinary team to bring innovative solutions from concept through development, while ensuring sales and marketing teams can effectively communicate product value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand strategic objectives and develop products that leverage technical expertise.
  • Conduct user research to identify current and future needs and articulate these clearly.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to prioritize work that delivers the most value.
  • Define development project scope, balancing time-to-market, product cost, feature set, and quality.
  • Communicate product value through presentations, documentation, training, demos, and customer interactions.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and seminars.
  • Track key metrics to support engineering, manufacturing, and management decisions.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

  • 5+ years in Product Management or a closely related role.
  • Experience with high-value, low-volume technology products, electronic/hardware experience essential.
  • Conducting effective discovery sessions with users.
  • Ability to analyse market data and identify opportunities.
  • Strong technical background (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience).
  • Clear communication of decisions and rationale.
  • Ability to quickly learn and articulate new technologies.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (~25% of the role).
  • Knowledge of monitoring or measurement systems.
  • Experience with open/disaggregated network architectures or communications technology.
  • Familiarity with Ethernet/IP and synchronization technologies.
  • Experience with 4G/5G networks or datacoms infrastructure.
  • Previous work in test and measurement for telecoms/datacoms.
  • Understanding of network equipment (switches, routers, servers, firewalls).
