Role Description
This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Contract Manager based in Coventry. The Contract Manager will be responsible for overseeing project planning and execution, ensuring compliance with timelines and budgets, and maintaining client relationships. Daily tasks may include managing contracts, supervising teams, coordinating with suppliers and contractors, and ensuring quality standards are met. Additionally, the role involves identifying and mitigating potential risks, preparing reports, and addressing any issues that may arise during project execution.
Qualifications
- Project management and contract administration skills, including planning, scheduling, and executing large‑scale projects
- Experience in managing supplier and contractor relationships, ensuring quality standards, and overseeing installations
- Strong negotiation, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities
- Proficiency with relevant project management software and tools
- Knowledge of construction industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing teams and liaising with clients
- Ability to work effectively in an on‑site setting and adapt to a dynamic work environment
- Experience in flooring or construction‑related projects is a significant advantage
