Working Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday (10am-2.00pm or 11am-3pm) Department: Human Resources Overview of position We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Temporary HR Administrator to support the administrative needs of our busy HR department. This role is essential in ensuring accurate employee data management, smooth HR processes, and timely support across a range of administrative tasks. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities HR Administration Maintain and update employee records within the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring accurate and timely entry of personnel data (new starters, leavers, changes to terms, absence, etc.). Assist with the preparation and issuing of employment documentation, including contracts, offer letters, and variations to terms and conditions. Support the onboarding process by preparing induction materials, scheduling meetings, and coordinating required paperwork. Manage the HR inbox, responding to general queries or escalating to the HR team as appropriate. Assist with monitoring and recording staff absence, annual leave, and other leave types. File, scan, and organise HR documentation in line with data protection and confidentiality standards. Recruitment Support Provide administrative support to recruitment activities, such as posting job adverts, collating applications, responding to queries, scheduling interviews, and contacting candidates. Conduct reference checks and right-to-work documentation processing as required. General HR Support Assist with HR reporting by gathering and organising relevant data. Support the team with ad-hoc HR projects and initiatives as needed. Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and GDPR requirements at all times. Essential Criteria Minimum of 1 years administrative experience required. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and document handling. Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise workload effectively. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Positive, professional attitude with a willingness to learn. Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities. Team-oriented but able to work independently when required Reliable, proactive, and committed to high standards of work. Desirable Criteria Previous HR administration experience Previous experience working with HRIS or similar HR database systems. What We Offer!
