Systems Administrator

Systems Administrator – Belfast (Hybrid) Our client, a fast-growing technology-focused organisation, is looking for a Systems Administrator to join their Belfast-based team. This is a hands-on role with real ownership of a modern, cloud-first IT environment, supporting a business scaling its platforms and operations globally. You’ll play a key role in keeping systems secure, reliable, and optimised working across Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and Entra ID in a collaborative and fast-moving environment. Responsibilities: Own and manage end-user technology (laptops, mobiles, tablets) from provisioning through to support Administer core platforms including Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Entra ID, Jira, and Confluence Maintain and enhance endpoint security, MDM policies, and Microsoft Defender controls Support backup, disaster recovery, and data protection strategies Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring minimal disruption Contribute to implementation of new systems and continuous improvement initiatives Create and maintain clear technical documentation Experience: 3-5+ years’ experience in a Systems Administrator / IT Infrastructure role Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, and Entra ID Experience managing MDM, endpoint security, and Defender Solid understanding of backup, DR, and cybersecurity best practices Experience supporting tools like Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset Nice to Have: Certifications such as AZ-104, Endpoint Administrator, Security certs, or Network+ Experience documenting systems and processes in Confluence Package: £35k-£40k base Bonus 34 days annual leave inc stat Hybrid/flexible working Pension Scheme Private Health Training & Professional Development Opportunities Please apply now if you are meeting the above criteria, or contact Andrew Harrison directly.
