Manufacturing Engineer

Park Recruit are partnering with a progressive and expanding engineering manufacturer to appoint a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. This is a key strategic hire within a business that is entering a significant phase of growth, including major factory expansion and increased production capability. With a highly experienced and well-established management team already in place, the organisation is now focused on strengthening its engineering leadership to support scale. This is not a steady-state role. This is an opportunity to shape, influence, and lead manufacturing improvement within a business that is actively investing in its future. You will take ownership of manufacturing performance, process optimisation, and continuous improvement, playing a critical role in how the operation evolves over the coming years. The Role: Lead the development and optimisation of manufacturing systems, processes, and workflows Drive Lean transformation and operational excellence initiatives across the shop floor Act as a senior engineering voice across production, quality, and design teams Lead root cause analysis and implementation of sustainable solutions to manufacturing challenges Support new product introduction (NPI) and ensure production readiness at scale Influence layout, ergonomics, and process design as part of ongoing expansion Mentor and support engineering and production teams, building capability within the function Person Requirements: Degree-qualified in Engineering or significant manufacturing engineering experience Proven track record in process improvement, Lean manufacturing, and operational optimisation Experience working in a high-volume or heavy engineering/manufacturing environment Strong leadership presence able to influence, challenge, and drive change Commercial awareness with a focus on cost, efficiency, and quality Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills On Offer: Flexible working hours to suit – 4 day week Excellent salary and benefits package Join a business with clear growth plans and major investment underway Be part of a stable, experienced, and supportive leadership team Opportunity to make a real impact in a high-growth environment Long-term career progression as the company continues to expand…
