A growing business near Chester, operating in the special purpose machinery industry is looking for an Engineering Manager, to support their ongoing expansion. In this role you’ll be responsible for a team of ~30. Consisting of designers, welders, maintenance and production workers. Your role will be to support the day to day operation of the teams as the business scales up operations to produce more machines weekly. This is an exciting time to join the business as they branch into new markets, produce new designs and head into their next phase of growth.
Key requirements
- 5+ years experience in Engineering Leadership
- Previous experience as a disciplinary responsible manager
- Knowledge of welding, assembly, design and various production processes
- Engineering qualifications, HNC or Degree equilavent
- Able to work on-site 5 days a week (8:00 – 17:00)
