Role: Control System Design Engineer

Location: Keele

Salary: Up to 45,000 depending on experience

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join a growing and dynamic engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong electrical and controls background looking to work on varied and technically challenging projects.

Responsibilities for Control System Design Engineer

• Design and develop control systems for industrial and commercial applications
• Produce electrical schematics and documentation using software such as EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical
• Program PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing control systems
• Ensure all work complies with relevant industry standards and regulations
• Assist with system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting

Skills & Experience

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or related field
• Experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley)
• Knowledge of control theory and system integration
• Familiarity with SCADA/HMI development
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
