Residential Children’s Home Deputy Manager

Llamau is seeking a compassionate and motivated Deputy Manager to help leads its new CIW Registered Children’s Home, developed in partnership with the Vale of Glamorgan Council. This is a chance to shape a trauma-informed, psychologically informed environment that places young people firmly at its centre.   

Key responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager in leading and developing the Residential Childcare team
• Ensure high standards of emotional, physical, and safeguarding care
• Create and maintain a nurturing, homely environment
• Oversee staff rotas, workforce planning, and regulatory compliance
• Build effective relationships with multi-agency partners
• Promote strengths-based, trauma-informed practice
• Deputise for the Registered Manager and contribute to Llamau’s on-call rota
