Check out the role overview below If you are confident you have got the right skills and experience, apply today.37 hours Term time onlyWinchester, Hampshire1to1 Group are looking for an enthusiastic temporary Progress Coach to work with students.You will be working focusing on learner retention and success.Day to day responsibilities:Providing regular review meetings for learners assigned to you, to enable them to access all aspects of the College curriculum and achieve their learning goals.Provide up to date, accurate information to students, parents and other staff about academic performance in accordance with the relevant college policies.Liaise closely with the Student Wellbeing Coordinator and Wellbeing Practitioners to co-ordinate and assure the provision of comprehensive and effective additional support for students.Assist the Assistant Principal and wellbeing teams in the development and implementation of college and campus-wide activities.Provide a point of contact for students in order to signpost to other support to which students are/may be entitled.Ensure achievement of agreed operational objectives and targets, through close liaison with the Faculty Assistant Principal and prioritise your activities as needed. xwzovoh Undertake scheduled meetings with all learners assigned to you to review academic performance, personal conduct, and refer on for financial and/or welfare support as needed.Required skills, experience and attributes:Knowledge and understanding of currents developments in students welfare and support issuesAbility to work independently and resolve students issues and problemsKnowledge and understanding of Equality & Diversity agendaPrevious experience of working with young people in a post 16 pastoral context is desirableKnowledge and understanding of Safeguarding legislation and best practiceGood IT skillsAbility to work alone and be self- motivatedBenefits:Free on-sire parking…
