A well-established children’s residential provider is recruiting for an experienced Deputy Manager to support the leadership of a small 4-bed EBD home currently caring for three young people. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress within a supportive organisation that prioritises therapeutic care and internal development.
The Role
- Base salary of £35,200 plus performance-related bonus up to £4,800 annually
- 3-on / 3-off rolling rota, 10am–10pm shifts
- No sleep-in requirements
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the home, safeguarding practice, and regulatory compliance
Candidate Profile
- Previous Deputy Manager experience within an Ofsted-registered children’s home within the past two years
- Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
- Solid understanding of safeguarding, legislation, and Ofsted expectations
- Comfortable contributing to inspections and quality assurance processes
- Commitment to trauma-informed, therapeutic approaches to care xwzovoh
