The Role

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Refrigeration Engineer based near Peterborough. This is a varied role combining workshop-based work with field service responsibilities.

You will be responsible for carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI), compressor changes, and supporting on-site service and maintenance across a range of refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry outPre-Delivery Inspections (PDI)on refrigeration units
  • Performcompressor changesand associated repairs in the workshop
  • Attend customer sites to completeservice, maintenance, and fault finding
  • Diagnose and repair refrigeration system faults efficiently
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with industry regulations
  • Complete relevant paperwork and reports for all work carried out
  • Provide excellent customer service when on-site

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Refrigeration Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and components
  • Experience withcompressor replacements and system diagnostics
  • F-Gas qualification (essential)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Package

  • Salary up to£45,000(depending on experience)
