Our customers include Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) contractors , National Oil Companies (NOCs) , and major operators. They provide engineered flare solutions covering design, supply, and technical support across a wide range of operating environments.Role SummaryThe Sales Proposal Engineer is responsible for handling incoming technical and commercial enquiries for flare systems and related equipment. The role bridges engineering and sales , preparing competitive, technically compliant proposals for EPC contractors and NOCs in accordance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesProposal & TenderingReview and evaluate RFQs, ITTs, and technical specifications for onshore and offshore flare systemsPrepare technical and commercial proposals , including scope of supply, deviations, and clarificationsDevelop cost estimates , pricing, and commercial terms in coordination with engineering, procurement, and managementEnsure proposals comply with applicable codes and standards (API, ISO, client specifications, etc.)Technical SupportPerform preliminary technical sizing and selection of flare systems and componentsCoordinate with internal engineering teams to define technical solutions and resolve technical queriesRespond to client and EPC technical clarifications during the bid phaseSupport value engineering and alternative technical solutions when requiredCustomer & Project InterfaceAct as the primary point of contact for EPC contractors and National Oil Companies during the proposal stageAttend technical and commercial clarification meetings (in person or online)Support handover of awarded projects to execution and project engineering teamsSales & Business SupportMaintain accurate proposal records, cost data, and bid documentationAssist in market intelligence, competitor analysis, and pricing strategySupport continuous improvement of proposal tools, templates, and cost databasesQualifications & ExperienceEssentialBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering disciplineExperience in oil & gas equipment sales, proposals, or project engineeringFamiliarity with flare systems xwzovoh (onshore and/or offshore) or combustion/process equipmentExperience dealing with EPC contractors and/or National Oil CompaniesStrong understanding of technical specifications, datasheets, and international standardsSkills & CompetenciesStrong technical and commercial awarenessAbility to interpret complex specifications and translate them into clear proposalsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsOrganized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple bids simultaneouslyComfortable working across engineering, sales, and management teamsWhat We OfferOpportunity to work on major onshore and offshore oil & gas projectsExposure to global EPCs and National Oil CompaniesCompetitive salary and benefits packageLong-term career development in a specialized technical field…
