They are seeking to appoint a motivated Conveyancing Assistant.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to build a long-term career within residential property.Youll be joining a friendly and supportive team working alongside a Senior Conveyancer and a Conveyancer, and gaining hands-on experience across the full conveyancing process.About the Role;Youll provide essential administrative and case-management support to more senior fee earners.The firm will candidates with a minimum of 6 months experience working within a conveyancing department up to more senor assistants.Key Responsibilities;
- Opening new matters and updating internal file lists
- Retrieving Land Registry documents
- Preparing contract packs for sale matters
- Requesting redemption statements
- Ordering searches for purchase transactions
- Applying for Land Registry searches
- Preparing files for completion, including Accounts Completion Packs
- Dealing with pre-contract enquiries on sale files
- Coordinating exchange of contracts
- Reviewing Source of Funds documentation and Stamp Duty Forms
- Reviewing and reporting on search results and mortgage offers
- Managing pre-completion mortgage conditions
- Preparing contract documentation for client signatures
- Drafting completion statements for both sales and purchases
- Conducting title checks (under supervision) on purchase files
- Reviewing xwzovoh replies to enquiries
- Progressing both sale and purchase matters from start to finish
- Preparing files for final sign-off by the Conveyancer or Senior Conveyancer
