You support her out of bed, help her choose something nice to wear, then sit down together for a cuppa and a chat while she enjoys her breakfast. Later, you may visit Mr Jones to help him with his medication, support him with a refreshing shower, and make sure he has a hot, nutritious meal ready. Your role may include:Providing companionship and emotional supportAssisting with daily tasks such as preparing meals and light household dutiesSupporting clients to stay connected by accompanying them to shops, appointments or outingsEncouraging clients to enjoy their hobbies and maintain social connectionsOffering personal care support including help with washing, dressing or bathingAdditional InformationAt Home Instead, we truly value the incredible work our Care Professionals do every day.
