We deliver high-quality BMS solutions across a wide range of commercial and industrial projects and are currently involved in several high-profile developments throughout the West Midlands.Due to continued growth and expansion, we are seeking an experienced BMS Project Manager to strengthen our project delivery team. Reporting directly to the Project Department Manager, this role will play a key part in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.The RoleThis position is primarily office-based at our Birmingham head office, with regular visits to live project sites for meetings, coordination, and progress reviews. The majority of projects are located within the West Midlands, with occasional travel outside the region (all expenses paid).You will manage projects from post-quotation stage through to final handover, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest technical and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesManage BMS projects from post-quotation stage through design, installation, commissioning, and final handoverTake full ownership of projects with values up to £1,000,000Produce and manage project documentation, including:Technical submittalsControl panel drawingsDescriptions of operationProject reportsO&M manualsEnsure design integrity and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle, particularly during commissioningPlan, schedule, and coordinate all project activities to meet programme milestonesDeliver projects on time and within agreed budgetsProduce accurate cost forecasts and three-month financial projectionsMonitor performance and report progress to senior management and the finance teamLiaise effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and third partiesCoordinate and support site installation and commissioning teamsManage and mentor a small team of project engineers, providing technical guidance and supportSkills & Experience RequiredStrong technical background in BMS project engineering and/or project managementProven experience managing BMS projects from design through to completionHands-on experience with one or more of the following platforms:DeltaTrendCylon (ABB)TridiumDistechExcellent organisational and planning skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsCSCS Skill Card (or equivalent)Full UK driving licencePersonal AttributesHighly organised with strong time management skillsProactive and solutions-focusedStrong team player with leadership capabilityAble to work independently and take full ownership of responsibilitiesProfessional and client-focused approachPackage & Benefits£60,000 salary + car allowanceOvertime available (optional)Annual leave loyalty bonusOngoing training and professional developmentEmployee benefit schemeAnnual salary reviewsIf you are an experienced BMS Project Manager looking to join a growing and reputable organisation delivering high-profile projects across the Midlands, then please contact Jodie Hodgson at Pertemps….
