Associate Director – JSS Financial Services – Insurance Finance Practice Lead – Interim Finance Specialist

A leading life insurance group is looking for an experienced FP&A Manager to take ownership of planning, forecasting and performance analysis across UK and European entities. This is a high-impact role offering strong visibility with senior finance and actuarial stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the expense budgeting, reforecasting and monthly performance cycle.
- Produce clear analysis and commentary on cost drivers, variances and trends.
- Work closely with actuarial colleagues to align expense inputs and allocations for Solvency II.
- Enhance models, MI and reporting frameworks to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Partner with local finance teams across Europe to ensure consistent, high-quality expense reporting.
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).
- Strong FP&A experience within life insurance or wider financial services.
- Exposure to IFRS 17 and Solvency II
- Excellent analytical, modelling and communication skills.
- Confident working with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
This is a permanent appointment paying up to £100,000 + bonus + benefits.
