Senior Designer – High‑End Residential
Location: SW London (Studio-based)
Full-time, Permanent
We are working on behalf of a highly respected luxury interior design studio based in South West London and the Chelsea area, renowned for delivering exceptional high‑end residential projects across the UK, Europe, and the MENA region. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior FF&E Designer to join their established team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, client‑facing designer who thrives in a studio‑led environment and enjoys mentoring junior team members while remaining hands‑on across all stages of the design process.
As Senior FF&E Designer, you will take ownership of FF&E packages from concept through to installation, working closely with Principals, Project Leads, suppliers, and private clients.
Key responsibilities
- Leading FF&E design development for high‑end residential projects
- Producing detailed FF&E schedules, specifications, and presentations using Vectorworks
- Preparing and delivering confident, polished client presentations
- Managing supplier relationships, quotations, and procurement processes
- Attending site visits and overseeing on‑site installations to ensure design intent is delivered
- Liaising directly with Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWI) and their representatives
- Supporting and mentoring junior designers, contributing to their professional development
- Working collaboratively with the wider design team to maintain exceptional design standards
Ideal candidate
- Proven experience as a Senior FF&E Designer within high‑end residential interiors
- Confidence presenting to clients and managing senior‑level stakeholder relationships
- Experience delivering projects internationally, ideally across Europe and/or MENA
- In‑depth knowledge of luxury furniture, lighting, finishes, and global suppliers
- Strong technical capability and advanced proficiency in Vectorworks
- Experience attending site installations and managing final‑stage delivery
- A collaborative mindset with a genuine interest in mentoring junior designers
- Professional, polished communication style suitable for UHNWI clients
