Ready to make your application Please do read through the description at least once before clicking on Apply.Location: KentSalary: £40,000 £50,000 per annumThe RoleWe are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join a friendly supportive team in Kent. This is an exciting opportunity to work with high-value capital equipment and machinery, supporting customers across Southern England.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, repair, overhaul, and adjust machinery such as conveyors and end of line packaging machinery.Assemble and commission new equipment.Service and repair production machinery and other high-value equipment.Install factory updates and modifications.Repair or replace worn or damaged components.Operate machinery to identify and troubleshoot faults.Train operators in how to correctly use newly commissioned machinery.Attend breakdowns and carry out regular service visits at customer sites.Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety standards.Represent the company and uphold its core values at all times.Skills & ExperienceCompleted apprenticeship in a relevant field (e.g. electrical, mechanical, electronic, mechatronic, agricultural mechanic).Minimum of 18 months experience in a similar technician/service engineer role.Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels.Full UK driving licence.Fluent in written and spoken English.Basic IT skills, including MS Office.Additional RequirementsWillingness to travel across Southern England.Flexibility to work overtime, and on call.On OfferCompetitive salary with performance-related pay.Opportunity to work within a successful and growing company.Varied and interesting role with real responsibility. xwzovoh Modern benefits package and supportive working environment….
