We’re looking for a reliable and proactive Security Officer to join our team in Glasgow. You’ll play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our people, assets, and clients by providing a high standard of service on site.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a professional team on a well-established contract, offering consistent shifts and attractive benefits.

Shift patterns and package

• 42 hours per week
• 4 shifts on, 4 days off
• Day Shift 06:00am till 6:00pm
• Night Shift 6:00pm till 06:00am
• £13.45 per hour
• Free onsite parking

What you’ll do

• Ensure the security and safety of the site by conducting regular patrols and monitoring activity across all areas
• Manage access control by carrying out identification and vehicle checks for staff, visitors, and contractors
• Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, or security concerns in line with site procedures
• Complete clear and accurate incident reports and maintain up-to-date security records
• Operate security systems, including CCTV and control room equipment, in accordance with site protocols
• Provide a professional and approachable service, assisting staff, visitors, and contractors when required

What you bring

• A valid and current SIA Security Guard licence
• A recognised First Aid qualification
• Previous experience working in a security role or similar environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence when interacting with a range of people
• The ability to remain calm, professional, and decisive in high-pressure or emergency situations
• Basic IT skills, including confidence using PCs and the willingness to learn site-specific xwzovoh systems
• A full UK driving licence
