You will work at the heart of major programmes, influence technical direction, and operate as a trusted partner to senior leadership.Essential Skills & ExperienceProven background in the defence sectorStrong systems engineering foundation operating at a high levelExperience across multiple complex projects within a programme not a single-project specialistSkilled problem solver able to navigate ambiguity and technical challengesConfident communicator with experience managing diverse internal and external stakeholdersDemonstrable leadership, capable of acting as the right hand to senior engineering leadershipExperience guiding cross-functional technical teams (hardware, firmware, software, systems, testing)Strong grounding in systems engineering lifecycle, requirements development and ISO/IEEE/IEC standardsAbility to make balanced, risk-based engineering decisions and present to senior customersThe RoleAs Systems Lead, you will own the systems work packages across a major programme, ensuring full lifecycle alignment and delivery against quality, schedule and budget.
