A long-established and growing regional electrical contractor is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to oversee a strong pipeline of commercial and general contracting projects across Buckinghamshire and the surrounding area. This role is ideal for someone with solid project experience who wants to take ownership, step up further and progress within a supportive, ambitious team.
Role Overview
You will manage electrical projects from initial survey through to completion, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient delivery. Projects include commercial units, warehouses, general contracting environments and light industrial sites. There is no residential work. The business considers candidates from electrical contractors, M&E companies, or client-side estates and facilities teams. A Gold ECS Card is required.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the planning, design and execution of electrical projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
Check below to see if you have what is needed for this opportunity, and if so, make an application asap.Produce and maintain project programmes, schedules, resource plans and procurement requirementsLead and coordinate project teams, facilitating effective collaboration with electricians, subcontractors and other professionalsEnsure full compliance with safety protocols, electrical standards and legal regulations across all project stagesManage project budgets, monitor financial performance and forecast costs to achieve target marginsMaintain clear and consistent communication with clients and internal teams, ensuring project scope and requirements are metMonitor project progress, adjust resources and priorities as needed, and ensure all work meets quality, technical and compliance standardsPrepare and deliver regular progress, commercial and financial reports for internal stakeholders and clientsBuild strong working relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams to support successful project delivery
Ideal Candidate Profile
Electrical Project Manager or Project Engineer/Supervisor ready to step upStrong understanding of commercial and general contracting electrical installationsDemonstrable experience in project planning, commercial management, reporting and cost controlConfident managing multiple concurrent projects and making decisions on siteOrganised, proactive and clear in communication, with strong documentation and reporting skillsHolds a Gold ECS Card and a full UK driving licenceAmbitious and xwzovoh looking for long-term progression
