Opportunity to work towards the top end of the salary band based on experience and contribution Registered Building Inspector Class 2A (non-negotiable) Confident in plan checking and site inspections Able to work independently and manage a daily inspection schedule Full driving licence and able to travel locally (approx. 78 inspections per day) Undertake plan checking for building control submissions in line with regulations Carry out site inspections across an allocated area, including Class 2A surveillance work Liaise regularly with structural engineers, contractors, and internal teams (within standard working hours only) Maintain accurate records and reports using our database system (AIP) Focus on technical inspection work alongside associated reporting and administrative responsibilities Manage your workload, inspection schedule, and projects autonomously while meeting targets Ensure all work complies with BICOF guidance and regulatory standards Travel is regionally focused and tailored to your location for efficiency Your data will be handled in line with GDPR…
