Structural Design Engineer Location: Hybrid Structural, Steel, Mechanical An opportunity has opened for a Structural Design Engineer to join a construction and engineering company based in Portishead. The ideal candidate will have a background of designing structural steel to Eurocode (EC3) and will have excellent mechanical engineering principals knowledge like FEA. The company offer a hybrid working pattern after the initial training period, flexible working hours, 25 days holiday + bank holidays and many other benefits. Structural Design Engineer Key Skills: Structural Engineering experience specifically in steelwork Experience of design engineering (structural / mechanical) Degree within an Engineering discipline Fabrication experience along with engineering principals AutoCAD experience would be ideal Any FEA or other calculations experience would be a bonus Full UK Driving License
Structural Design Engineer Responsibilities:~ Design and verification of steelwork equipment and structures~ Verifying other drawings from the engineering department~2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD~ Occasional site visits to review equipment and structures performance
