HR Business Partner Shrewsbury – Fully Office Based Permanent Monday Friday£Our client are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Business Partner to join their team in Shrewsbury. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping our people strategy and supporting managers across a diverse organisation. Working closely with the Head of HR and the wider leadership team, youll provide hands-on HR support and guidance across employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and organisational development. Youll partner with managers to promote consistent, fair, and legally compliant practices that help our teams deliver their best work. Employee Relations & Advisory Lead complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence matters. Provide clear, pragmatic, and compliant HR advice to managers at all levels. Support organisational change and service development initiatives. Recruitment & Compliance Oversee safer recruitment practices and ensure compliance across all sites. Maintain and quality-assure statutory HR records. Absence & Welfare Management Monitor and analyse short- and long-term absence trends. Support managers with welfare and occupational health processes. Line manages the HR Coordinator, providing coaching and professional support. Deputise for the Head of HR when required. Contribute to HR policy development, review and implementation. CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards) or equivalent HR experience. Proven experience managing employee relations cases independently. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and safer recruitment principles.
