We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Gas Engineer to join our growing maintenance team. The role will involve delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across a varied portfolio of commercial sites. Planned Preventative Maintenance Complete PPM tasks in line with contract schedules and SFG20 standards. Ensure all maintenance activities are delivered proactively and efficiently. Reactive Maintenance & Repairs Diagnosing of faults effectively and carry out timely repairs to commercial gas appliances and associated plant. Escalate issues to the helpdesk and Contract Manager where appropriate. Quotations & Commercial Awareness Ensure works are delivered profitably while maintaining quality and client satisfaction. Work in strict accordance with company H&S policies and statutory compliance requirements. Ensure all gas works comply with current legislation and industry standards. Communicate effectively with clients, helpdesk, and management teams. Asset & Equipment Care Ensure tools, equipment, calibration devices and company assets are maintained and stored correctly. Essential Gas Qualifications City & Guilds COCN1 Core Commercial Gas Safety CCN1 Core Domestic Natural Gas Safety CDGA1 Non-Domestic Natural Gas & LPG Direct Fired Heating Appliances CODNCO1 Changeover Domestic to Non-Domestic Core CIGA1 Non-Domestic Indirect Gas-Fired Heating Appliances CPA1 Combustion Performance Analysis CENWAT Domestic Central Heating/Hot Water Boilers ICPN1 Non-Domestic Pipework & Fittings TPCP1 / TPCP1A Testing & Purging CKR1 Domestic Gas Cooking Appliances CCCN1 Non-Domestic Catering Appliances HTR1 Domestic Gas Fires & Wall Heaters Legionella Awareness & Practical Training Asbestos Awareness IPAF 3a & 3b 25 years experience in commercial gas maintenance.
